MARY SPARKSMAN - Managing Director
Mary is the Managing Director for YRD and has principal responsibility for the management of major client accounts, events and conferences. Mary manages the Human Resources and has 35 years of experience in hotel hospitality and conference management. During that period she has become recognised as a leading PCO, for businesses, government departments, professional services, research, educational, scientific and peak body associations.

Mary is an invited member of the Sofitel Advisory Board, an active council member of the PCO Association and speaks at industry forums, particularly on matters pertaining to venue negotiations and contracts, and ethical standards of PCO members.
KATE MURPHY - Director and Event Manager
Kate is a Director and
Financial Controller of YRD, managing a number of specialist events for
clients. Through her 10 years as branch
manager for the Australian Tourism Export Council she gained extensive
knowledge of hotel and tourism destinations throughout Australia. Over the past 17 years as a director of YRD,
Kate has become recognised as a leading PCO for medical, government
departments, research, educational, scientific and peak body associations.

EMILY ADAMS - Event Manager
|Having graduated with a Bachelor of Business, majoring in Event Management, Emilys attention to detail and enthusiasm towards conference management makes her an asset to YRD. Since joining YRD Emily has worked closely with both directors on all aspects of multiple conferences. She has also been in charge of creating and updating conference websites and online registration pages, managing accommodation blocks and liaising with conference presenters, chairs and sponsors. Emily also works closely with our graphic designers and clients to establish appropriate marketing/advertising material as well as an appropriate marketing schedule. Emily has gained experience in dealing with various hotels throughout Australian and is capable of organising social functions, floor plans, catering and audio visual requirements to suit any conference requirements.|
JAYME GOULTER - Event & Secretariat Coordinator
|Jayme coordinates the secretariats managed by YRD and also works with both Directors on conferences throughout the year. Jayme has completed a degree of International Hotel and Tourism Management at the University of Queensland. Jaymes cheery disposition, strong attention to detail and exceptional efficiency makes her an asset to YRD.|
JEDESS HUDSON - Event Coordinator
|Jedess communicates with clients, delegates and other individuals to answer questions, disseminate or explain information, take requests, manage registrations and assist where necessary. Jedess prepares meeting agendas, manages calendars and arranges appointments for the directors of YRD. Jedess has recently completed a bachelor in Creative Industries majoring in Graphic Design at the Queensland University of Technology and uses her knowledge to assist the YRD team when necessary. Jedess is the friendly voice on the end of the phone who is always happy to assist delegates with any enquiry.|| |
DAISY YAU - Accountant
|Daisy has a Bachelor of Business|
majoring in Professional Accounting and a Diploma in Event Management, with a
vast wealth of knowledge in administration and customer service. Daisy has
worked closely with the executive team to ensure financial reports to our
clients are of the highest standard possible. She is able to tailor accounting
processes and formats for each client based upon their individual needs.
Daisy's attention to detail in all financial matters ensures that accounting
and auditing standards and timelines are always met.
DANIELLE COLRAIN - Event Assistant
|Danielle has previously worked in the events industry|
administrating, coordinating and hosting all aspects of international and
national conferences and events as well as incentive travel. Danielles
commitment and enthusiasm to the events industry is portrayed in her ability to
work under pressure and to plan, organise and meet tight deadlines accordingly.
Having graduated with a Bachelor of Business majoring in Marketing, as well as
undertaking additional subjects in Events and Music Industry, Danielles
attention to detail in all areas results in meticulous and accurate work.
Danielle also has strong organisational, interpersonal and communication
skills, allowing her to develop long-lasting working relationships with both
colleagues and clients.
